Job Description

Senior Payroll Developer

Location: Ignacio, CO

Description:

This position is responsible for development and production support of the Human Capital Management (HCM) software program and related interface to General Ledger and Accounts Payable, providing enterprise-wide Payroll technical support and consultation. This position will focus on the technical view of the North America Payroll application with emphasis on the impact, implications, and functional/technical benefit of enhancements, as well as the design and implementation of customizations and fixes to the production system.

Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Finance and ten years PeopleSoft experience in HCM environments; OR a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and twelve years PeopleSoft experience and development in HCM environments is required.  
  • Must have ten years’ experience in business systems.  
  • Must have ten years of PeopleSoft programming/technical experience including use of Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI Must have senior level knowledge of the PeopleSoft system. Must have strong knowledge of PeopleSoft North America Payroll, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Tax Updates, W-2 year end processing, Time and Labor, ePerformance and Affordable Care Act processing.  
  • Must have working knowledge of one or more of the following PeopleSoft Financial applications: Payroll to General Ledger interface; Payroll to Accounts Payable interface.  
  • Must have a solid understanding of PeopleSoft web-based architecture and desktop troubleshooting.  
  • Must have the ability to think analytically, manage change, and participate in multi-directional communication.  
  • Must have the ability to clearly document and effectively communicate complex payroll design and functionality to management and customers. 
  • Must be willing to assist others, learn new skills, and participate in a productive team-oriented environment. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under the Growth Fund vehicle insurance policy. 
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check.
