Job Description

Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) Maintenance

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

You will be responsible for the engineering / maintenance of rotating machinery including compressors, turbines, and pumps.  Additional duties may include specification, selection, and services relating to mechanical equipment such as utility equipment, packaged units, material handling, and bulk solids processing systems.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Knowledgeable with analysis of fluid/thermal systems
  • Maintenance and Reliability (highly preferred)
  • Understanding of machine design and application
  • Knowledgeable with rotodynamic principals and analysis
  • Working knowledge of current API standards for rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, centrifugal compressors, and auxiliary systems.
 
Job Qualifications
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field
  • 5 – 25 years of Oil & Gas (Refinery or Petrochemical) project exp
  • Additional experience with Maintenance and Reliability preferred
