Job Description

IT Material Clerk

Location: Oklahoma City, OK


Responsible for a variety of clerical tasks, administrative and duties that support and are associated with a particular functional area within the Company. Processes material requests, maintains and adjusts inventory levels, Unloads loads material within storeroom and ensure materials and supplies are available to meet requirements according to schedules and emergency situations. Generally, will gather, input, and maintain administrative and subject matter information for the department. May produce reports for department user.

Level of Responsibility:
• Routine duties based on detailed instruction
• Works under direct supervision
• Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides
• Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job

Essential Functions:
• Greets and escorts visitors.
• Answer and screen telephone calls to route to the appropriate parties.
• Receives and inspects materials and supplies delivered for completeness and quality.
• Issues material via bar coding and/or computer (stock number). Assembles items for maintenance/work orders and delivers items to the appropriate areas.
• Maintains necessary logs and files in storeroom for accurate records keeping.
• Performs general housekeeping duties as required to ensure the warehouse, outside storage area and/or pole yard are orderly and safe working environments.
• Works with Enterprise Supply Chain buyers to expedite materials and services as required to support maintenance and emergency services.
• Creates SAP requisitions for direct materials in support of field operations
• Order and maintain various supplies for the department.
• Performs data entry.
• Handles mail processing both inbound and outbound.
• Process orders.
• Assist others as needed.
• Serves as backup to material handler.

Education/Work Experience:
• High School Diploma/GED Valid State Driver’s License.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

KSAs:
• Strong ability to work in partnership with other members.
• Demonstrates ability of good record keeping for compliance audits.
• Demonstrates problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and software is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of and ability to use office equipment such as fax machine, copier, etc.
• Dependable and accurate.
• Ability to use personal computer with MS Office Applications and inventory management software like SAP, Oracle, Sage, or Epicor.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
• Work is performed in an office environment using computers
• Work may be performed in warehouse atmosphere with moderate exposure to heat, cold and noise
