Job Description

HR Generalist

Location: Tulsa, OK

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of Human Resources generalist experience
  • Payroll experience a must
  • Experience recruiting and sourcing candidates
  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities
  • Maintain employee personnel records
  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary
  • Manage workers compensation claims
  • Work directly with the HR Manager and duties as assigned
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, including staffing from temporary agencies
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars, as requested
  • Maintains the company’s employee directory
  • Stays current on recent federal, state and case law changes and monitors labor law updates and newsletters for changes that affect Human Resources
  • Plan company events in office
  • Run payroll

Education and Certifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in the Human Resources and Organizational Development discipline is preferred;
  • At least 3 years of Human Resources generalist experience
  • Payroll experience a must
  • Experience recruiting and sourcing candidates
