Job Description

Exterior Mechanism Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

Description:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior fitment components Wind Shield Wiper mechanism
  • Design of automotive Exterior fitment component parts in CATIA V6
  • Develop and execute Exterior fitment components system requirements for Automotive   (Cars and SUVs)
  • Complete and release   exterior components, sub-system, and detail designs (Windshield Wiper, rear view Mirrow)
  • Collaborate with key Exterior fitment component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
  • Perform feasibility and packaging study
  • In-depth knowledge of Plastic and metal tooling
