Description
Responsibilities may include:
- Lead role in project cost tracking and forecasting.
- Supervision of contract employees hired to assist with turnaround cost tracking efforts.
- Provide daily cost forecasts during turnarounds, with a level of detail that enables decisions to control costs and meet budget expectations.
- Prepare monthly cost accruals and reconcile accruals in the following month.
- Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations to communicate project cost status and cost forecasts.
- Assist the Turnaround and Technical Teams with preparation of their annual budgets.
Qualifications
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and or 4 years equivalent experience
- Proficient in the use of SAP modules Project Systems, Plant Maintenance, and Materials Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook).
Preferred:
- 5 or more years of project cost tracking and forecasting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
- Working knowledge of Primavera scheduling software.
- Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
- Works independently without much supervision.
- Functional expertise in accounting/finance.
- Proficient with cost tracking systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
