We are currently seeking a bilingual Turnover Manager reporting directly to join the team on-site based in Ensenada, Mexico for a 6 – 12 month assignment and will transition to the Houston OC upon completion.Â

About the Job
The Turnover Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the turnover process on a large-scale LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) construction project. This role ensures the seamless transition of systems, equipment, and facilities from construction to commissioning and ultimately to the operations team. The Turnover Manager will oversee the development and execution of turnover plans, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.Â

Your main missions and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive turnover strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with project schedules and milestones. Â
- Define system boundaries and establish turnover packages in collaboration with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams. Â
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and approval of turnover documentation, including system walkdowns, punch lists, and completion certificates. Â
- Lead system walkdowns with construction, commissioning, and client representatives to verify readiness for turnover. Â
- Identify and document punch list items, ensuring they are tracked, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. Â
- Verify that all punch list items are closed out prior to final turnover
- Ensure all turnover activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Â
- Responsible for the technical validation of the Project components site tests related to the process unit.
- Liaise with the construction/erection subcontractor for the execution of these static and dynamic tests.Â
- Coordinate and supervises the vendors’ representatives’ activities on site for the PC&C process activities.
- Assist Company in the Start-up of the unit as required
- Handover of the Process Unit by System to the customer. Therefore, ensuring that Completion Packages related to scope are ready for Handover on schedule.
- Identify required resources, labor and material, necessary to keep the utilities reliable during the commissioning of the Process unit.
- Oversee the compilation and management of turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, test records, inspection reports, and equipment manuals. Â
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of all turnover documentation. Â
- Facilitate the handover of systems and equipment to the commissioning and operations teams, ensuring all required documentation is delivered and approved. Â
- Capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future projects.Â
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years' international experience in Oil&Gas/ Petrochemical Plants, Construction and Operation troubleshooting. He/She will have already occupied an operational position within an international sized project with construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning aspects.Â
