QE Lead

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description:

The Quality Engineering Lead is responsible for ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous testing protocols and practices. The candidate will design, execute, and manage comprehensive test cases aligned with specified requirements, ensure effective interface testing, and meticulously identify and document any defects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    
Your primary responsibility at this level may include any or all of the following: 
  • Document, modify and drive project test approach to deliver project with high quality.
  • Design test cases that align with product requirements to ensure full coverage.
  • Facilitate and perform system and validation tests.
  • Carry out interface testing to ensure seamless interaction between components.
  • Identify, document, and accurately describe defects for reproduction by development teams.
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings to discuss and prioritize reported issues.
  • Contribute to defect triage processes by helping determine each defect's validity, priority, and severity.
  • Verify that defect fixes are implemented correctly and meet the requisite quality standards.
  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee the overall testing effort, including user acceptance, to maintain high efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on test execution and defect reporting procedures.
  • Identify any gaps in testing coverage and work collaboratively to address these areas.
  • Maintain and update Power BI reports to track and report on testing status comprehensively.

  • Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira and Zephyr Scale)
  • Ability to facilitate training and effectively communicate across multiple departments
  • Proficient in using Power BI or similar tools for reporting and data analysis
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Practical experience with API endpoint validation considered a plus
  • Experience with Data Scan Wi application or other similar wholesale financing and inventory risk management system highly preferred
