Description:
- Part of a team of Engineers responsible for Active Directory Domains, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, Cloud-based infrastructure, Entra Connect
- Administration of On-Premises and Cloud infrastructure
- Identification of recurring tasks and implementation of automated process resolution
- Vulnerability and Patch Management of servers
- Implementation of industry-standard best practices such as CIS Benchmarks & NIST Standards
- Configuration Management of Servers thru Group Policy, Big Fix or other tools to align with policy and standards.
- Collaboration with Engineering teams to support business applications and initiatives
- Documentation of existing and new processes
Skills
- 5+ years’ experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, AWS, Entra Connect, and Microsoft DNS
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy administration and maintenance, including domain consolidation and cleanup
- Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Python, Ansible VMWare Orchestration.
- Working knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Automation and scripting (PowerShell) prowess
- Ability to work independently (no micromanagement!) with a solid sense of ownership
- Ability to script Vulnerability and Patch Management of servers
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Understand the impact of changes and upgrades you make
