Description
Responsible for the validating receipt of materials against Purchase orders, packing slips, repair and return documents, and the management of storing and dispensing such materials in a timely manner, including, but not limited to:
- Performs warehouse duties including, unloading/loading trucks, using a forklift for unpacking receipts, packing returns, packing goods issued, maintaining documentation and safety of material.
- Inspecting materials upon receipt for damage, quantity, and specification.
- Responsible for inventory placement into designated bins upon receipt completion.
- Coordinate logistics and delivery of direct shipment materials to field locations
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Entering records into computerized tracking system (SAP).
- Performs goods issued receipts in SAP for all material which flow through the warehouse
- Maintains warehouse transaction documentation.
- Participates and assists in ensuring warehouse activity compliance.
- Assists with Inventory control activities i.e. Cycle Counting, wall-to-walls.
- Physically capable of lifting materials and product up to 50 pounds.
- Compliance with company policy and industry regulations.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
- Intermediate level, typically 3-5 years of experience.
- Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support.
- General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department.
- Performs routine tasks.
- Able to solve problems and make basic decisions.
